Project brief

Inside the build.

zainather.com was designed and developed as a professional digital presence for Dr. Zain Ather.

The website supports two user groups at the same time: patients looking to book consultations quickly, and recruiters, institutions, or collaborators reviewing background and contact options.

Challenge & response

Turning constraints into a working system.

The challenge

The client wanted a professional, corporate, medically credible website that did not feel like a generic AI-generated portfolio template.

The site also needed clear patient booking actions, recruiter-facing CV access, strong mobile responsiveness, improved SEO, restrained motion, and deployment on GitHub Pages under zainather.com.

The response

  1. Reframed the website as a service and trust-building medical platform rather than a portfolio-first personal site.

  2. Built two clear conversion paths: a patient consultation path through structured WhatsApp and phone actions, and a recruiter/collaborator path through experience, background, contact, and CV access.

  3. Added Care Tools as practical patient-support content, replacing generic blog-style content with searchable, filterable health-topic tools.

  4. Refined the visual system toward a white-first, restrained navy and cool gray-blue design with sharper geometry, controlled spacing, subtle motion, and professional typography.

Product capabilities

What the delivery makes possible.

Each capability connects a product requirement to something people can use.

01

Consultation-first homepage

Homepage structure supports quick patient consultation actions while still giving recruiters and collaborators a clear professional review path.

02

WhatsApp booking flow

Appointment booking passes structured user input into a WhatsApp message, keeping the flow direct without requiring a backend booking system.

03

Care Tools

Searchable and filterable health tools cover practical topics such as blood pressure, diabetes, diet, exercise, heart health, hydration, sleep, stress, fever, digestive health, and women’s health basics.

04

Recruiter CV access

A public PDF CV workflow gives recruiters and collaborators a formal document alongside the web profile.

05

Professional visual system

The UI avoids soft portfolio styling in favor of a corporate medical tone with section-led layout, sharper geometry, restrained colors, and subtle motion.

06

SEO and deployment

Metadata, canonical tags, Open Graph, Twitter metadata, JSON-LD, robots, sitemap, favicon, manifest, CNAME handling, SPA fallback, and GitHub Pages deployment support public launch.

System architecture

A connected delivery, not isolated features.

  1. The site is organized around Home, About, Experience, Care Tools, and Contact so navigation matches patient and recruiter intent.

  2. Patient actions use direct phone and WhatsApp links, with booking messages assembled from structured input instead of a backend form submission.

  3. Care Tools pages use topic-focused content, visual panels, filtering, search, and official-reference links to support credibility.

  4. The deployed site uses GitHub Pages with root asset sync, CNAME handling, SPA fallback, and asset path fixes for reliable custom-domain hosting.

Delivered impact

What changed after the build.

  1. Turned a generic web presence into a focused consultation-first medical website.

  2. Created clearer paths for patients, recruiters, institutions, and collaborators.

  3. Added practical health tools, CV access, SEO readiness, and deployment stability while preserving a professional medical tone.
